It is significant to note that the very foundation of ISEE3D, formerly called International Telepresence was providing imaging services to NASA, Canadian Space Agency, Caterpillar (mine field clearing with remotely driven vehicles), US Army (San Diego – cargo handling on extendable boom forklifts). These were all two camera and image processing systems as the new technology had not been developed.

The ISEE3D single lens technology lends itself to a litany of commercial applications, some of the more significant are enumerated below:
